In this workshop you will be encouraged to explore a range of watercolour and mixed media techniques to create interesting and contemporary paintings. The focus of the day will be on experiment and play! Explore ways to create a variety of textures by using a range of tools to achieve surprising results. At the end of the day you will have a collection of watercolour experiments that could awaken a whole new direction in your art.

Facilitator: Eleni Rivers

Eleni is a professional artist who has been teaching painting and drawing for over 25 years. She completed her MFA at JFK University in Berkeley, California in addition to holding several art degrees from colleges in Australia. Eleni’s paintings, drawings and illustrations have been exhibited and published in many countries and are held in collections both here and the US. Now based in Castlemaine, Eleni continues her art practice on themes of the nature and belonging within the Australian landscape.
