This walking garden tour will visit three community gardens in Castlemaine: The Castlemaine Community House Kitchen Garden, the Hub Foundation plot and the Salvation Army Community Garden.
Participants will be guided through each garden and invited to ask questions and explore some of the fantastic, productive public green spaces that exist within the Castlemaine community.
The tour will conclude at the Salvation Army Community Garden next to the Castlemaine Train Station, where we will be moving existing wicking beds and planting seedlings that will contribute to the Salvation Army’s food relief program.
Attendance is free and will include afternoon tea at the Salvation Army.
