Are you always wondering what materials go into compost to make your garden turbo charged? Would you like to make your own compost and begin to understand ways to make it fail-safe?

In this workshop, Joel Meadows will bring you some of the basics to help build your first compost or troubleshoot possible failings. You want to work out how to make it work better, right? And have your finished compost bring you the best results in your garden.

You will also be introduced to YIMBY (Yes, In My Back Yard), a local community composting initiative that seeks keen composters in neighbourhoods and links them to loads of food scraps that are currently going in the bin.

Date: Sunday 24 October
10.00am to 11.30am

Facilitators: Joel Meadows, The Green Hand Institute, in partnership with YIMBY (Yes, In My Back Yard) and Maldon Neighbourhood Centre
