Would you like to help a friend at risk of suicide?
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two day workshop in suicide intervention skills. In an ASIST workshop you will become prepared to:
- Recognise when someone may be thinking of suicide
- Respond in ways that clarify and and address suicide risk
- Understand why suicide thoughts are present
- Work together to review risk and increase safety
- Find links for further help
Training runs for two full days from 9am to 5pm each day. Cost is $80 full fee/$60 concession and has been subsidised by Murray PHN and supported by Castlemaine Community House.
