About MASDAG

We are an independent advocate proudly auspiced by Castlemaine Community House.  Our aim is to promote systemic change that supports equitable social participation for the wide range of disabilities experienced by residents in Mount Alexander Shire.

We understand the importance of social inclusion for everyone, including people with disabilities, their families and carers.

Acknowledgement of Country

MASDAG acknowledges the Dja Dja Wurrung people as the custodians and caretakers of the land in this shire.  We thank them for the care they have taken over many centuries of the rivers, mountains, trees and animals.  We acknowledge that they have never ceded sovereignty. We honour and pay respect to the Elders past and present, and the young, proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, as they are our leaders of tomorrow
