Join us for a fun and imaginative holiday program designed to ignite your child’s creativity! Facilitated by Melinda Jane, each workshop offers a hands-on, supportive environment where children can explore various artistic techniques and express themselves freely.

Each individual workshop offers creative opportunities to explore artmaking alongside others. Participants will engage in the following exciting workshops:

• Handmade Journal: Create a personalised journal to capture thoughts, ideas, and creative expressions. (Tuesday 8th)

• Exploring Nature Printing: Discover the beauty of nature by using found materials to make unique prints. (Wednesday 9th)

• Altered Books: Transform old books into artistic masterpieces through collage, painting, and other mixed-media techniques. (Thursday 10th)

• Colourful Collage Garden: Design a vibrant, imaginative garden scene using colorful collage techniques. (Tuesday 15th)

• Make Your Own Printing Plate: Learn the art of printmaking by crafting your own printing plate and creating one-of-a-kind prints. (Wednesday 16th)

• Watercolour Wonderland: Explore the magical world of watercolours, experimenting with washes, blending, and techniques to bring your art to life. (Thursday 17th)

Each session is designed to encourage children to experiment, make discoveries, and develop their artistic skills while having fun in a supportive, creative atmosphere. Perfect for children eager to explore new artistic mediums and express their unique ideas!

Melinda is a visual artist, educator and professionally registered Art Therapist…she is also an inspired gardener, avid reader, bird watcher, bread maker, dancer, mother. She live and work on the unceded, ancestral lands of the Dja dja Wurrung people in central Victoria. She is passionate about supporting the wellbeing of others through creative curiosity and reciprocity with the natural world and finding joy and creative possibilities through art making.
