Learn the basics of vegetable gardening from soil and seeds to plant care and harvesting. Each week a different topic will be covered, and will include hands on time in the garden as well as an activity to take home and try.
Topics covered include:
- Home composting
- Mulching techniques
- Organic pest control
- Growing herbs in raised garden beds and pots, and
- Designing and building living gifts.
This course is ideal for anyone wanting to turn their backyard into a productive paradise or is considering horticulture as a career and wants some hands on experience.
