This is an introductory course for people who are interested in working in the food service industry, such as in a café, coffee house, restaurant, pub or bakery.
It will include developing understandings and skills in:
- types of cafes & coffee culture,
- coffee (making) skills,
- front-of-house skills,
- basic food safety,
- customer service,
- communication skills,
- your expectations and your rights.
