Join this practical 4-week course designed to help men build everyday cooking skills and gain confidence in the kitchen. Whether you’re cooking for yourself or just want more go-to recipes for quick, easy meals, this course will teach you how to adapt recipes and plan nutritious meals and get creative with seasonal produce on a budget.
Topics may include food safety, healthy eating, cooking with eggs, one-pot dishes including soups and stews and make the most out of a bounty of fruit. Learn tips and tricks to make cooking enjoyable and stress-free, no matter your skill level.
This course is delivered by local chef Alex Perry, a born-and-bred Castlemainian with extensive experience in a variety of kitchen settings. His latest venture, Bar Midland, is known for sourcing ingredients from local producers and creating inventive recipes that make the most of seasonal produce.
