The concept of degrowth has gained attention in the media, as a rallying cry for social and ecological activists, and in public debates.
But what does degrowth actually mean? Can we truly live “the good life” within a one-planet footprint? And how do we transition from where we are now to a more sustainable future?
Degrowth Central Victoria activist-scholar Anitra Nelson is hosting a five-week introduction to this transformative idea. Anitra is the co-author and editor of four books exploring the theory and practice of degrowth.
Expect engaging 90-minute sessions featuring short talks, videos, dynamic discussions, hands-on activities, and accessible readings to deepen your understanding of degrowth and its potential role in building a sustainable future.
