Learn the essentials of good design using Canva—a free, user-friendly online platform perfect for creating fliers, social media graphics, invitations, and more. This hands-on session will give you a solid foundation in layout, branding, and content creation, even if you’ve never designed before.
In this introductory session, you’ll learn:
• How to navigate Canva and use its drag-and-drop design tools
• Simple design tips for fliers, social media posts, and presentations
• How to use templates, fonts, and colours to stay on-brand
• Visual content basics to support your online marketing goals
Leave with designs you’ve created and the skills to keep going.
Requires: Intermediate computer skills (drag and drop, download & upload files, basic understanding of internet search) or completion of the Community House Basic Computer Skills course.
