Build your skills understanding and representing the human form in a friendly encouraging environment. This course explores approaches to figure drawing and we are lucky to have a variety of models. Life drawing is a rewarding and engaging practice to which artists can return over many years. A time-honoured component of artistic training, it is also a wonderful art form in itself.

Suitable for all levels of ability and beginners are most welcome.

Facilitator: Jane Taylor

Jane teaches Visual Arts in schools and previously tutored life drawing to adults. She studied Fine Art at Melbourne University and has practised sculpture, textiles, photography, digital art, drawing, painting, and printmaking. Jane has exhibited and sold 2D and 3D artworks in various mediums, but drawing remains her all-time favourite.
