Develop your own painterly language while exploring diverse subjects in oils with experienced teacher and artist, Gabrielle Martin.

Structured around colour mixing and observational painting, you will have the opportunity to work on your own painting projects in a supportive environment with constructive feedback and advice.

A materials list will be provided to students in the led up to the class.

Accessibility: this class will take place up 3 flights of stairs

Facilitator: Gabrielle Martin

Gabrielle is the 2022 winner of the Maldon Portrait Prize.  She has been a finalist in numerous national painting competitions, including the Archibald Prize, Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, Len Fox Painting Award and Portia Geach Memorial Award.  Her work has also been included in the prestigious Archie100 touring exhibition.  She has had many solo exhibitions including her most recent at Castlemaine Art Museum in 2022.  Gabrielle has over 15 years of experience teaching art and is currently the painting teacher at Art Pathways.
