CCH Youth Programs support increased youth re-engagement with school, community programs, and employment through youth-led programming. We are seeking someone to support the development, implementation, and evaluation of a youth wellbeing project focused on increasing opportunities for physical activity across our shire. The project will prioritise young people who are neurodivergent, gender diverse, or disengaged from mainstream sporting opportunities.

Administration Support
Help us tell our story and reach more people! We are looking for someone to help with our fortnightly newsletters. Requires 3 – 5 hours per fortnight. Flexible hours, work from home. To express your interest please email Mahira at eo@cch.org.au
No Interest Loans Scheme (NILS) are interest-free loans intended to provide individuals and families in need with money for essential items and services to make life easier. Working in partnership with Good Shepherd Microfinance, Castlemaine Community House supports community members submit their loan applications.
We are looking for a NILS Admin volunteer to work one day a week (flexible hours and days). No previous experience required. On the job training provided. Project and Event Support
Support our youth education program on Tuesdays from 9:30am – 2:30pm and gain experience working hands on in a flexible classroom setting with young people ages 13 – 16. To express your interest please email Mahira at eo@cch.org.au

We’re always looking for extra volunteers to support our fundraising events. We’re looking for someone to start and lead a new gentle weekly walking group. This role will involve supporting participants on relaxed walks and helping create a welcoming, social environment.
There may also be opportunities to drive our bus for occasional outings and excursions.

Kitchen, Food Pantry and Garden Support
Join our amazing team of volunteers at the Castlemaine Tuesday Community Lunch—a much-loved tradition running for over 25 years! Be part of the kitchen team who every week come together to create a warm, welcoming space where people can enjoy a delicious two-course vegetarian meal made with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
Support our bushfire recovery work in partnership with the Harcourt Progress Association. We’re looking for volunteers to help serve the Harcourt Community Lunch on Wednesdays and Fridays. Get in touch with volunteer@cch.org.au to find out more.
We run a free food pantry that supports more than 500 people each month. We’re looking for volunteers to help keep the pantry running smoothly by stocking shelves, sorting deliveries, accepting donations, and providing a friendly welcome to people who come in for support. May involve driving to collect donations and occasional heavy lifting. Volunteer shifts are available Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm.. To express your interest please email reception@cch.org.au
