Join us for a 5-week hands-on course covering the fundamentals of putting on a project-based community event, from curating the program and coordinating the event project, to budgeting and marketing. The skills you’ll learn will be applicable for small to medium scale events. Be part of the pre-planning building towards a fundraiser for the Maryborough Community House.

You’ll be guided by Jeannie Clark, introducing this new skills based training development series, as session facilitator.

You’ll have the opportuntity to get ongoing support from Reconnect, a free program that supports participation in education, training, or employment. This free service will provide personalised support and financial assistance towards education related expenses.

This course is free for priority cohorts including – 18 – 64 year olds not engaged in education or training for six months or more (less than 8 hours per week).

Delivered in partnership with Castlemaine Community House and Reconnect – Bendigo Tafe Kangan Institute.

Course valued at $385. Subsidised education supported through Learn Local funding.
