Tanya van der Weert of Seeding Abundance will be presenting the next Food Links workshop in our series to keen start-up gardeners in Mount Alexander.

Aimed at people new to gardening, Tanya will introduce all the basics needed to get started on the path to being a successful gardener. Participants will learn about different types of plants and what they need; how to choose and nurture plants into abundance; what to do when things go wrong, and what to do with your harvest!

Get into gardening: An introduction is part of a series of workshops coordinated by Food Links, Mount Alexander. Food Links is a growing network of the Shire’s community gardens, members, partners and volunteers that aims to strengthen our local food security by supporting an increase of gardening, learning and food growing across the Shire.
