In this initial workshop you will be introduced to Oracle, Lenormand and Soul decks and to the idea of making a personal deck of cards.
Oracle, Lenormand and Soul decks contain imagery, symbols, colors and words, often representing an intention, wisdom or a theme. They can be used to gain insight, clarity, guidance or inspiration for your creative work.
Although the market is awash with commercial decks there is no doubt that creating your personalised cards by hand, will infuse the deck with your own artistic style, creative intuition, personality and energy. In the process you will develop a close connection with the cards you make and they will help guide and direct your creativity.
The initial workshop will explore ideas so bring a pad and supplies to brainstorm and mind map ideas. Gather up your preferred craft supplies and let’s begin to craft a personal deck that guides and supports your inner child, magician or artist.
Note: The cards featured here are a part of a home crafted Lenormand Deck.There will be many samples of decks to examine for ideas but no craft supplies will be provided.

She has worked as a specialist teacher of writing with people of all ages and believes that the expressive arts, not only promotes wellness in those who trust the process and engage but helps people identify and value their unique voice.
