With summer just around the corner, it’s time to think about how to stay cool and healthy as temperatures rise.
A group of local community organisations have teamed up to host a series of events designed to bring people together and share tips on staying cool, safe, and healthy throughout the warmer months.
Multicultural Community Connect & Summer Health BBQ
Inviting multicultural community members and families to come together, share a meal, and learn about heat safety + health and wellbeing.
In partnership with Loddon Campaspe Multicultural Services and Women’s Health Loddon Mallee, Castlemaine Community House invites multicultural families to come together, enjoy a meal, and learn about heat safety and health and wellbeing.
What to Expect:
- Family-friendly event for all ages. Pool staff and lifeguards will be on hand, so everyone of all ages and abilities is welcome.
- Heat and health: what to do during heatwaves
- Practical tips for staying healthy and reducing your risk of COVID-19 over summer
- Informal roundtable discussion on women’s health and wellbeing
