School Can’t’ Parents and Carers Group

Are you a parent or carer of a young person who experiences challenges with attending school? Would you like to connect with others experiencing this, in an supportive environment?

This group has been created by Castlemaine Community House in recognition of the stress and isolation many local families experience with School Can’t/refusal.

The monthly sessions are co-facilitated by Kirrily, a qualified social worker, and Julie Du Plessis, and aim to provide a welcoming, judgment-free and safe space for parents and carers to connect, share and support each other.

Sessions are gently supported by experienced care providers from Dhelkaya Health. All sessions are confidential, and the sharing of diverse, individual experiences of School Can’t is welcomed.

All sessions are confidential, no cost, no judgement and no obligations.

Although registration is not required, it is preferred, via this link. Walk-ins are also welcome.

Childcare available on request.
