Town Open Day brings community together for a day of connection and belonging on Saturday 16 May 2026!

Looking to meet new people, learn about the different ways to get involved in the community or pick up that hobby you’ve been thinking about?

Town Open Day is the perfect place to start.

Come along and explore local clubs, community groups, and activities all in one place. Whether you’re already involved in community life or you’re new to town and looking for ways to connect – this event is for you.

Castlemaine Botanic Gardens (event will be moved to the Castlemaine Town Hall if wet weather)

Town Open Day is opening expressions of interest/registrations for stallholders – the day will be a community-focused gathering designed to bring local groups and clubs to showcase activities for community members to come along, try, and sign up!

It’s an opportunity for the community members and clubs to connect with each other through experiences of joy and fun.

We have limited space for stalls and will be allocating places on a first come basis so please contact projectadmin@cch.org.au asap if you are interested
