Explore the expressive world of Korean ink and charcoal with artist Narsha Kang!
Explore Australian animals through the meeting of Korean ink painting and charcoal with artist Narsha Kang. Working from gesture rather than outline, you’ll use soot ink and charcoal sticks to capture movement and character, with watercolour for selective colour. No experience required.
- All materials provided + reference images (BYO welcome)
- Take home a finished A3 artwork on rice paper

Narsaha is a Bendigo-based contemporary figurative artist whose practice bridges Korean ink painting sensibility, expressive gesture, brushwork and tonal restraint, with the physical immediacy of charcoal. Working across soot ink, charcoal and watercolour, her work explores movement, presence and emotional tension in human and animal subjects.
