If you’re using Microsoft programs on your computer or phone but not sure how to make the most of them then this is the course for you.
You’ll learn about using these programs on your laptop and via an internet browser. Topics covered include: ~ Understanding the different apps ~ What is ‘the cloud’ ~ What is One Drive and where are my files saved ~ Using Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point ~ Keyboard skills ~ Staying safe online
Our facilitator is an experienced teacher who will break down the information and take you through it step by step. Whether you’re using Microsoft for work, study or home you’ll be so much more confident after this course.
This course is especially suited to those who have basic computer skills but want to upskill for a job, education or life projects. Please bring your laptop and charger. We do have some laptops that can be loaned for the class.
After this course: you could tell employers you have these new skills, do another course at Castlemaine Community House, study computers further at TAFE or University, or apply for a job.
