Creative Craft is a free weekly art group where people come together to craft in a supportive, inclusive environment. Whether you love spinning your own wool, knitting, crochet, felting, weaving or any crafting pursuits come and enjoy a morning of craft at the Castlemaine Community House. This is a lovely space to enjoy good company, bottomless teas, relaxed conversation, and permission to experiment, share and teach each other anything crafty.

Perhaps you have a knitting project you’ve been meaning to start, or a unique design that’s stumped you, and you need a little support. Or perhaps you’ve never crafted before in your life and have always been curious. Whatever your experience, and whoever you are, you are welcome to get inspired to create craft in this non-judgmental, peer supported group!

There are no formal lessons, but the group is about learning from each other, sharing ideas, and being inspired by the creative energy in the room. The group is coordinated by Maldon resident Tammy Noble and meets on Monday mornings. All are welcome — the only requirement is a willingness to have a go!

Please note:

  • Participants must bring their own art materials
