Don’t throw that item away! Re-purpose it into something useful.

Learn all the techniques you need to make old things new again.

You’ll learn a range of mending techniques suitable for different fabrics and problems. Bring something from home, the op-shop or from the dress up box!

Whether you’ve done some beginners sewing, or you used to do a lot but need a refresher, Lotte will guide you step-by-step to help you feel comfortable, capable, and inspired to sew.

This course is especially suited to those who have a machine at home and would like to master the next stage of skills. We encourage you to bring your machine along!

After this course: you could tell employers you have these new skills, do another course at Castlemaine Community House, study fashion, textiles or upholstery at TAFE or University, or apply for a job.
