Join Jace for a low impact, high vibes session using light weights and resistance to build up muscle and get your body moving. Bring your own light weights from home, or use our lo-fi substitutes.
This class is suitable for complete beginners, Jace can also adapt the exercises to support people recovering from injury or with mobility issues.
In your first class you’ll be asked to provide Jace information about any pre-existing health conditions or medications that might impact your participation. If you’re unsure, we recommend you chat to your Doctor before you sign up.
What to bring: Towel, water bottle, wear comfy stretchy clothes. If you have them, a yoga mat and light weights (dumbbells), but these aren’t necessary. Remember to eat before class – no skipping breakfast!

Jace is a qualified fitness instructor and personal trainer and member of AUSactive, the peak body for the fitness sector.
His speciality is strength and conditioning with a strong focus on older Australians or those recovering from illness or injury. Jace is experienced in adapting his teaching to the needs and capacity of the class.
Jace also has a current First Aid and CPR certificate and is a musician, artist and landscaper.
Castlemaine Community House is a partner in the Active Mount Alexander program with Mount Alexander Shire Council, Healthy Loddon Campaspe and Regional Partnerships Loddon Campaspe.
