On Wednesday 15th March 2023, Get Connected Mount Alexander – Social Prescribing Pilot, was launched in Castlemaine. Attended by supporters, volunteers and local stakeholders, including many GPs, the current MAS Mayor Rosie Annear, and local media, the event was well received by all.
The evening began with a presentation by volunteer Community Connector, Isis Jordan, leading into a Social Prescribing role play, followed by an amazing performance by the Silver Top Dancers and rounded out with a robust Q & A panel.
